Dr. Kelly Konczal joined The Dental Care Center team in 2013 and proudly serves patients at our Smithfield location as a general dentist. She attended North Carolina State University, where she graduated summa cum laude with two Bachelor of Science degrees in microbiology and botany. Dr. Konczal went on to earn her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry.
Dr. Konczal enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and has a particular interest in extractions. Rather than focusing on a single specialty, she was drawn to dentistry for its unique balance of science and art. She values the relationships she builds with her patients and teammates and credits her coworkers and patient community for making each day both meaningful and rewarding.

Outside of the office, Dr. Konczal loves spending time outdoors and enjoys activities such as camping and gardening. Originally from Statesville, North Carolina, she is a lifelong Girl Scout and continues to embrace a love of learning, service and the outdoors.
