Here at The Dental Care Center, we are a locally owned and operated group family practice, not a corporate chain. Founded by UNC Chapel Hill graduates Dr. Higgins, Dr. Mani and Dr. Watson, our practice has grown to include multiple doctors and specialists, all dedicated to providing the best dental care to families across Eastern North Carolina. My son (12 yo) had to have his first cavity filled but it was in the top back. He has a small mouth and a strong gag reflex. They put him at ease and used ‘laughing gas’ to help him relax and also used a special tool that numbed just the tooth they worked on, not the whole area! It was a great experience!
