“I have an 11 year old who has had a pretty intense fear of going to the dentist after a pretty bad experience when she was younger. But it is inevitable.. so after fighting her on it back and forth we contacted The Dental Care Center in Wilson to get her in for a cleaning and initial exam. I briefly explained the past situation to Denise – she then went above and beyond to ensure my daughter was comfortable and doing ok for the duration of the visit. That was just the first visit – fast forward 6 months (today).. We came for her next cleaning and I didn’t have to fight her to go (no tears), just a few questions along the way. Before we arrived my daughter asked if I thought we would have the same lady as last time (Denise). I informed her that I wasn’t sure because she may not work every day but either way it was going to be a good visit. When we arrived, a different lady got us back but Denise popped in for a brief moment – I told her that my daughter asked about her and that she made her so comfortable last time & that was the reason this visit was even made possible without a fight. She promptly switched us to the room next to where we were originally placed and offered to do this cleaning as well. She gave my daughter the same care and attention as the first time and made it painless! I cannot speak highly enough about her & the dentist that did the following exam!”
