Dr. Young-Mi Oh joined The Dental Care Center team in 2013 and proudly serves patients at our Wilson location as a General Dentist. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science from Seoul National University in South Korea before moving to the United States to pursue advanced education. Dr. Oh completed her PhD at North Carolina State University and later earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery with honors from the UNC Chapel Hill Adams School of Dentistry.
Dr. Oh provides comprehensive dental care ranging from preventative services to restorative and aesthetic treatments. She chose dentistry because of her passion for helping people achieve both better health and beautiful smiles. Her favorite part of her work is seeing patients leave with confidence and happiness after completing their care. Dr. Oh is committed to staying current with modern techniques and technology and enjoys educating her patients so they feel empowered to maintain long-term oral health.

Outside of the office, Dr. Oh enjoys cooking, attending concerts and spending time at the beach. She is married with two children and has lived in the Raleigh area since moving to the United States in 1995. Originally from the countryside of South Korea, she appreciates the quiet suburban lifestyle combined with the convenience of living near the capital city in North Carolina.
