Dr. Craig Mize is a highly experienced general dentist and an associate dentist at The Dental Care Center’s Wake Forest location, with nearly 30 years of clinical expertise. Over the course of his career, Dr. Mize has proudly mentored young dentists and served as an associate and senior dentist in practices across North Carolina.
Dr. Mize grew up in Raleigh and attended the University of North Carolina At Chapel Hill, where he received both his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery. From there, he completed his dental residency at the Naval Dental Center on Parris Island.
Dr. Mize is especially skilled in implant placement and holds a Certificate In Dental Implant Placement from the Triangle Implant Center in Durham, NC after he completed their year-long training program. His other interests include Invisalign®, fixed and removable prosthodontics, extractions, root canal therapy and dental sleep medicine. He is recognized for his unique ability to deliver exceptional patient care while also enhancing operational efficiency and practice growth.

Dr. Mize is a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and an active member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, International Academy of Sleep and North Carolina Dental Society.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Mize enjoys boating in Little Washington and spending time with his wife, their four children and his friends.
