Craig Mize DDS FICOI began his journey into dentistry in North Carolina. He grew up in Raleigh and went on to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned both his Bachelor of Science degree and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). Following graduation, Craig Mize continued honing his skills by completing a dental residency at the Naval Dental Center on Parris Island, an experience that gave him extensive training in general dentistry and patient care in a variety of settings.
Over the years, Craig Mize has held roles as both an associate and senior dentist in practices throughout North Carolina. Along the way, he has also mentored young dentists, passing on the knowledge and experience he has gained throughout his career. This combination of professional leadership and clinical expertise has shaped him into the well-rounded, compassionate provider he is today.
Advanced Training and Special Interests
While Craig Mize DDS FICOI is highly skilled in all areas of general dentistry, he has developed a particular expertise in dental implants. He completed a year-long training program at the Triangle Implant Institute in Durham, NC, where he earned his Certificate in Dental Implant Placement. This additional training allows Craig Mize to provide patients with long-lasting, natural-looking solutions for missing teeth.

One of his favorite pastimes is boating in Little Washington, where he can relax and recharge.
